Bringing your swimsuit is a must, along with a towel. With our Homosassa Scalloping charters, we provide snorkel gear for you.

Homosassa Scalloping Charter Rates

Rates are for up to 6 people. Rates listed are per boat. Also every charter is provided with waters, gatorades and soft drinks iced down for you. BYOB. However should you desire a meal, no problem. Often there are good tasting fish around to harvest, trout, snapper, spanish mackerel, sheepshead and silver trout depending on seasons. There is a Maximum of 10 gallons of whole bay scallops in shell. Capt Mickey works with Hula Bay to do a hook and cook if you’d like to go that route.

Homosassa Scalloping Fishing Rates may change throughout the season and depends on what species is preferred, what angling method is used, and how many are in your party.

All fish that are harvested for consumption will be cleaned and bagged by the Captain.

Trips canceled for weather will be rescheduled if possible, if not you will be refunded. Capt Mickey has been doing this a long time and sometimes it's just not going to be a good day due to weather, fronts, etc…In this case, trips may be shuffled around to get everyone fished that we can. Sometimes this may find you with a different Captain, not to worry Mad Red Charters only works with the best in the business, all veteran captains with a lifetime of experience fishing Tampa Bay.

Serving Tampa Bay, St Petersburg, Tampa, and Homosassa. However, I can only be in one place at a time and I work with some top-notch charter Captains in the areas other than Tampa Bay (my home waters) so if you can’t travel far or just wanna fish where you are I can set you set up with the right guide to make your fishing charter one to remember!
